Black Farm Land is a land consortium between black farms, formed in 2014. The organization strives to grow awareness of black farms and increase annual farm revenue. Black Farm Land is the result of owner’s extraordinary commitment to providing quality local produce for their local restaurants to deliver a true “Farm to Table” experience and to bring awareness to black consumers. Today, Son Moore Family farm in Slidell, Louisiana grow rows of lettuce and garden vegetables, greenhouses with flavorful tomatoes, herbs and flowers that supplies restaurants, grocery stores and loyal customers.
